Emergency Coordinator’s Report for August and September
One of the responsibilities of the position of Emergency Coordinator includes submitting monthly activity reports for their area of jurisdiction. The following was submitted in August and September. Included is a note from the Manitoulin Emergency Coordinator.
Manitoulin and North Shore
Our group has 6 new registered stations.
The following EOCs on Manitoulin Island participated in the Provincial SET on Thursday September 25: Assiginack, Billings, Gordon, Gore Bay, Manitowaning, Mindemoya, NEMI, and the Misery Bay Provincial Park EOC. This is 100% participation of all the EOC locations here on the big island.
Sudbury
Two ARES members are attending the City's BEM course in September.
It does not appear Sudbury will be participating in this year's SET.

Designed ARES photo ID cards for the Manitoulin group and they will be distributed as soon as completed.
Sudbury
ARES members Ed VE3VPD and Ed VA3EDF attended the City of Greater Sudbury's Basic Emergency Management course in September.
Members of the Sudbury ARES group provided supplemental communications for the Sudbury Terry Fox Run. Our thanks to Ed VE3VPD, Luc VE3MND and Al VE3AC for a job well done.
